Senior Data Engineer – Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark & AI

📍 Location: UK only
📅 Contract: 6 months initial, with potential extension
💰 Day Rate: £400–£550 per day
📑 IR35: Outside IR35
⏳ Start Date: ASAP

The Role

We’re looking for 4 Senior Data Engineers based in the UK to join an R&D Data Engineering team on an initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension.

This is a hands-on role for experienced data engineers with strong Azure Databricks, Python and PySpark skills, alongside experience or knowledge of GCP, agentic AI and AI-powered development tools.

Key Skills & Must-Haves

  • Strong commercial experience with Azure Databricks.
  • Strong Python and PySpark skills.
  • GCP knowledge or hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
  • Experience with agentic AI and AI agents.
  • Experience using AI coding tools to improve development efficiency.
  • Strong data engineering fundamentals and experience delivering production data solutions.
