Nexus Spark have partnered with a publicly listed consultancy who is currently in hyper growth mode due to recent client wins and global expansion.
They have multiple specialisms across all business and data domains. With this role sitting in their increasingly expanding Insurance division.
Role overview
As Senior Data Engineer you'll be responsible for designing, creating and maintaining expert level pipelines. Working within a cloud infrastructure environment (AWS) you will liaise with senior stakeholders to devise bespoke data engineering solutions to match the business and function requirements.

Key elements that you will work on:
- Help to design, create and manage scalable data pipelines
- Develop reliable ingestion, transformation and storage frameworks.
- Develop AI/ML capability
- Improve data quality, governance and pipeline performance
- Work on best practice for optimisation, governance and security
Technical elements
Preferred candidates are likely to have:
- Extensive and demonstrable Palantir experience
- Several years experience in pure Data Engineering
- Strong Python/Spark/Pyspark usage
- Experience building scalable distributed data pipelines.
- Excellent SQL and database design experience.
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Detailed experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- DevOps and CI/CD
- Typescript and/or Javascript
