Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)
Permanent | Hybrid (London – 2 days a week in the office)
Salary £70,000 to £90,000 + bonus
We're supporting a leading UK Wealth Management organisation as they continue a significant transformation of their Data & AI capability.
As part of this journey, they're looking to hire two Senior Data Engineers to join a high-profile Portfolio Suitability programme, one of the most strategically important initiatives within the business over the next two years.
This is a highly visible, regulatory-driven programme that will influence how the organisation serves clients, demonstrates suitability, and responds to increasing regulatory expectations. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, investment professionals, and key stakeholders across the business.

What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and developing scalable data solutions within Snowflake
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and transformation frameworks using dbt
- Working with complex market, investment and risk datasets
- Designing dimensional data models and Star Schema structures
- Supporting portfolio suitability and regulatory reporting initiatives
- Implementing data quality, validation and governance controls
- Working closely with investment, risk and business stakeholders
- Contributing to a rapidly evolving Data & AI capability
- Leveraging modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Snowflake
- Excellent understanding of Star Schema / dimensional modelling
- Experience with dbt
- Strong SQL and data engineering capability
- Experience working with time-series market data
- Exposure to market data platforms and financial data ingestion
- Financial Services experience
- Experience working within risk-related environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

- Investment Management data experience
- Regulatory reporting exposure
- Snowflake Cortex AI and/or Claude Code
- Medallion Architecture experience
- Modern data platform delivery experience
