Senior Data Engineer (SQL Snowflake) London / WFH

to £130k

Are you a technologist Data Engineer with a good knowledge of software engineering best practices?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on Data Engineer role at a tech driven, global Asset Manager with multiple billions of dollars under management.

As a Senior Data Engineer you'll build and optimise reliable data pipelines and integrations using Python, SQL, Dagster, Snowflake, DBT and C#, while leveraging agentic AI tooling to accelerate delivery. You'll play a key role in shaping a new Snowflake based data platform, influencing architecture and technology choices while modernising legacy systems and migrating them to the new platform.

Collaborating closely with stakeholders and data owners, you'll turn business requirements into robust solutions, troubleshoot complex data challenges and ensure high standards of data quality, integrity and reliability. You'll also mentor junior engineers and help shape best practice across the team, with your work directly supporting the organisation's ability to deliver better outcomes for clients and investment performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
