Senior Data & AI Engineer | Up to £100,000 - £130,000 base salary + benefits
London | 2–3 days a week in the office, hybrid
What if you could build the data and AI foundations behind one of the UK’s largest privately owned investment groups?
You’ll be joining a multi-billion-pound real estate business, working across a hugely varied set of data spanning property, investments, lending, asset management and finance.
This isn't a role maintaining an established data platform. You’ll be building it.
The role:
You’ll be a hands-on Senior Engineer, working closely with senior stakeholders to understand the biggest problems across the business and turn them into technology.
You’ll be:
- Building the core data platform and single source of truth
- Designing data models and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Connecting systems through REST APIs, webhooks and databases
- Automating manual workflows around reconciliations, approvals, reporting and documents
- Building dashboards and internal applications used to make real investment and operational decisions
- Developing production LLM pipelines, including retrieval, extraction, evaluation, tool use and guardrails
- Helping establish engineering standards around testing, security, deployment and monitoring
- Potentially mentoring a Junior Data Engineer as the team grows

Experience across real estate, fintech, asset management, private equity, investment, accounting or other data-heavy environments would be useful, but isn't essential.
