A fast-growing cybersecurity startup is revolutionising how companies identify and interpret exposed data, providing assurance and reducing risk with an AI SaaS platform that analyses corporate data in near real-time.
The Role
- Design, build, and operate batch and streaming systems to ingest, transform, model, and serve data at scale
- Own and evolve data pipelines and the data platform, turning raw exposed data into reliable, queryable intelligence
- Be the go-to expert for data flow, working with founders, platform, and software engineers in a small, international team
- Ensure data quality, correctness, and scalability for analytics, ML models, and customer-facing platforms
- Collaborate on data cleaning and feature engineering for ML training pipelines to build trustworthy, well-structured data
- Report to the Chief Data Officer

What You'll Need
- Demonstrable experience designing, building, and operating production data pipelines (batch and streaming)
- Strong Python for data engineering, including hands-on PySpark at scale (AWS EMR)
- Strong SQL for modelling, transforming, and querying large datasets
- Experience with streaming data (Kafka) and workflow orchestration (Airflow)
- Proficiency with lakehouse/data warehousing patterns (Apache Iceberg, Athena, S3, ORC) and OpenSearch
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), managing core AWS services, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
