Senior Data Engineer Opportunity
Work location: London, UK (Hybrid Onsite – 3 days a week office)
Job Description
A Senior Data Engineer with strong Databricks and Python experience to develop scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions supporting CCAR and regulatory reporting.
Role Description
- Support data engineering and integration initiatives, working with regional and global teams on financial markets data flows.
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data solutions for Risk, Regulatory, Finance, and Compliance.
- Partner with business and product teams to translate requirements and process gaps into technology solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, DBAs, cybersecurity, and other IT teams on application design and integration.
- Participate in development planning, prioritization, and technical discussions.

Must Have Skills

- Databricks, Python, and SQL.
- Financial services experience, preferably capital markets.
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and end-to-end data flows.
- Experience building large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks on any cloud (Azure or AWS platform).
- Integrating data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
