This role operates under a hybrid working model and is based out of the Warwick, UK office. Hybrid work expectations are subject to business needs and company policy.
About The Role
The Senior Data Governance Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of the Data Governance service across NGET.
The role translates Data Governance priorities into reporting solutions, governance tooling requirements, delivery plans and measurable outcomes. The role acts as a senior analyst, product owner and delivery lead, working with business stakeholders, information modellers, engineers and delivery teams to implement governance capabilities and roadmap initiatives.

The role is responsible for governance reporting, dashboard development, performance measurement, requirements management, governance tooling backlogs, delivery coordination and stakeholder communications to support the successful implementation and operation of the Data Governance roadmap.
What You'll Do
- Define, develop and maintain governance reporting, dashboards and performance measures that support assurance activities and provide visibility of Data Governance performance and progress.
- Gather, document and manage business, reporting and tooling requirements, translating Data Governance priorities into clear deliverables, user stories and implementation requirements.
- Develop and maintain governance tooling backlogs, working with engineers, information modellers and technical teams to deliver agreed functionality and improvements.
- Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of governance processes, reporting capabilities and assurance activities.
- Support assurance activities through KPI monitoring, evidence collection, performance tracking and reporting.
- Support delivery of the Data Governance roadmap through backlog management, action tracking, delivery planning, dependency management and progress reporting.
- Work closely with the Principal Data Governance Manager to translate governance priorities into requirements, delivery plans, reporting solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Prepare governance communications, presentations, stakeholder updates and supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve governance reporting, tooling, processes and ways of working through standardisation, automation and continuous improvement.
About You
- Operates with a high degree of independence in managing governance reporting, requirements, backlog activities and delivery support.
- Takes responsibility for translating Data Governance priorities into deliverable requirements, reporting solutions and implementation activities.
- Manages competing priorities and delivers agreed outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Works effectively with business and technical stakeholders to support implementation of Data Governance initiatives.
- Builds strong working relationships across Information Architecture, Data and Technology teams.
- Provides data-driven insight and reporting to support governance discussions and decision making.
- Works across multiple governance initiatives involving business, data and technology stakeholders.
- Translates strategic priorities into reporting requirements, tooling enhancements, delivery activities and measurable outputs.

What You'll Get
- Competitive Salary: circa £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (based on capability, and experience)
