Senior Risk Modeller | £90,000 | London | Hybrid
Are you an experienced statistical Modeller looking for more ownership and the opportunity to help shape a growing modelling function? Peaple Talent are supporting a leading organisation looking for a Senior Risk Modeller to join their team.
You’ll work across a varied portfolio of models covering customer demand, pricing, asset values, and wider market forecasting, while taking technical ownership and supporting the development of other Modellers within the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading statistical and forecasting models across the full modelling lifecycle
- Developing and improving models using Python and SQL
- Challenging modelling methodologies, assumptions, and outputs
- Leading complex modelling projects
- Supporting model monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement
- Working closely with stakeholders to turn complex modelling into meaningful business insight
- Supporting the team’s development into machine learning
- Coaching and mentoring other Modellers

What We’re Looking for in You
- Strong statistical modelling and forecasting experience
- Experience leading models across the full modelling lifecycle
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Excellent understanding of core statistical concepts
- Experience challenging modelling methodologies and assumptions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience coaching or mentoring others
- A genuine passion for modelling and data
