Job Description
To provide support for all aspects of the development and delivery of the Group’s Data Protection strategy, including to support the operationalisation and management of the Privacy and Data Protection risk management framework.
The role will provide expert technical advice and support to Clusters and to Group support functions.
Working as part of the Group Data Protection Team, the post will also assist the Group DPO to oversee and support the work of the Privacy and Data Protection Analyst(s).
What You'll Do:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of data protection compliance across the organisation
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive data protection policies and procedures
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify risks and areas for improvement
- Engage with stakeholders across departments to ensure data protection principles are embedded in business operations
- Lead data protection impact assessments and advise on regulatory requirements and obligations
- Design and deliver training programmes to promote data protection awareness and best practice throughout the organisation

Qualifications
About you:
- 6+ years of professional experience in data protection and privacy management
- Relevant industry certifications such as IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM, or Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection
- Proven GDPR competency and knowledge of current data protection regulations
- Expert-level technical knowledge in developing and implementing data protection frameworks and policies
- Experience conducting compliance audits, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement on data protection matters
