Senior Data Quality Analyst
We are looking to hire a Senior Data Quality Analyst to join our Management Information (MI) team at Nationwide Building Society. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-focused professional to play a key role in ensuring the quality, integrity and governance of data that is critical to the effective operation of our Collections & Recoveries function.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting on the quality of data owned by and essential to the running of Collections & Recoveries. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will identify data quality issues, investigate root causes and support the implementation of effective solutions to improve data accuracy, completeness and consistency across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyse, and report on the quality of data.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify data quality issues.
- Investigate root causes of data quality issues.
- Support the implementation of solutions to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Support the department's compliance with Data Governance policies and controls.
- Partner with the Data Steward to create, define, and maintain key data management artefacts, including business terms, metadata, data lineage, and business rules.
- Promote strong data governance practices.
- Ensure data is understood, managed, and utilized effectively to support business decision-making, regulatory requirements, and customer outcomes.
