Senior Data Scientist
London (Hybrid, 4 days per week) | Up to £85,000 + Benefits
This is an opportunity for a Senior Data Scientist to join a leading AI-powered SaaS business that helps enterprise organisations unlock the value of their customer data through advanced analytics, machine learning, and decision intelligence. You'll work closely with clients to deliver forecasting, segmentation, and machine learning solutions, making this an ideal role for someone from a consulting, professional services, or analytics consultancy background who enjoys combining technical excellence with commercial impact.

The Role
You will work across a variety of client projects, delivering end-to-end analytical solutions and partnering with stakeholders to translate data into business value.

Key responsibilities include:
- Building and deploying machine learning models across forecasting, propensity modelling, and customer segmentation projects
- Designing and implementing robust analytical workflows from data preparation through to model validation
- Developing commercially focused insights from complex datasets
- Working closely with engineering teams to support productionisation and model monitoring
- Translating technical findings into clear recommendations for clients and stakeholders
- Supporting workshops, presentations, and client discussions
- Applying AI tools and modern data science techniques to improve efficiency and delivery quality
- Contributing to modelling standards, experimentation, and best practices across the team
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied AI
- Advanced Python and SQL skills
- Consulting or professional services experience, with a track record of delivering data science solutions and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
- Experience delivering forecasting, customer segmentation, propensity modelling, or predictive analytics projects
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience working with customer data and commercially focused analytics
- Familiarity with cloud-based data environments and modern machine learning workflows
