Senior Data Scientist
Hybrid in London - ideally 1-2 days per week but can be flexible
12-months' FTC but very likely to convert to perm
Salary is up to circa £110k + 10% bonus
We're partnered with a well-known consumer-focused organisation undergoing significant investment across data, analytics and machine learning. Data is playing an increasingly important role in commercial decision-making, with pricing, forecasting and optimisation identified as key growth areas.
As part of this growth, they're looking to hire a Data Scientist to join a high-performing team focused on delivering commercial impact rather than pure research.

The Role
This is a hands-on Data Science role sitting at the intersection of commercial strategy, analytics and machine learning. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, build analytical solutions, and influence key business decisions through data-driven insight.
The role would suit someone who enjoys solving complex commercial problems and seeing their work deployed into production.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building and improving predictive models
- Applying statistical and causal inference techniques
- Translating business challenges into analytical solutions
- Delivering production-ready data science products
- Identifying commercial optimisation opportunities

What They're Looking For:
- Strong commercial Data Science experience within pricing, revenue management etc.
- Advanced Python and statistical modelling skills
- Ideally AWS experience
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Experience delivering models into production
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities
Nice to Have
- GenAI or LLM exposure
