Senior Product Data Scientist
London (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week) | £110,000 - £125,000 + Benefits
If you're excited by the challenge of understanding how people interact with AI, this is a rare opportunity to work on a product where your insights genuinely shape what gets built next. You'll be working with large-scale conversation and text data, helping teams understand what delivers value for users and where AI experiences can be improved.
The Company
This fast-growing technology business is building AI-native products used by enterprise customers around the world. They are in a high-growth phase and investing heavily in their product and data capabilities.
The Role
Working as part of a product team, you'll partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to help shape the future of AI-powered experiences. You will:
- Analyse large-scale text, document, and conversation data to uncover patterns in user behaviour
- Apply NLP, semantic analysis, classification, and regression techniques to answer product questions
- Develop frameworks to evaluate AI performance and measure user outcomes
- Investigate prompts, model responses, and interaction data to understand what drives successful experiences
- Turn complex analysis into clear recommendations that influence product strategy and roadmap decisions
- Own projects end-to-end, from problem definition and data exploration through to modelling, insight generation, and stakeholder communication
- Design and evaluate experiments to support product development and feature launches
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to improve user experience and business outcomes
- Help establish best practices for analysing unstructured and AI-generated data

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience working as a Data Scientist within a product team
- Hands-on experience analysing high-volume text, conversation, messaging, or document data
- Deep understanding of NLP, semantic analysis, or text-focused machine learning techniques
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience applying statistical and machine learning methods such as classification and regression
- Proven ability to influence product decisions through data and experimentation
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where problems are not clearly defined from the outset
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience in AI-native, SaaS, enterprise software, or other product-led technology businesses is highly desirable
