About Robotiz3d
Robotiz3d is a fast-growing startup building next-generation AI-driven robotics and SaaS platforms for automated road infrastructure inspection, analysis, and maintenance. Our systems combine advanced sensing, robotics, edge computing, cloud-native platforms, analytics, and artificial intelligence to help infrastructure operators make faster, smarter, and more proactive decisions for road maintenance.
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to help scale our AI and data platform to the next level. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of machine learning, real-world sensing systems, large-scale data analytics, and operational decision intelligence.
You will work closely with AI engineers, software developers, robotics engineers, and product leadership to transform complex infrastructure data into scalable AI-driven insights and intelligent automation capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and deploy machine learning and statistical models for infrastructure inspection, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and operational optimization.
- Analyze large-scale multimodal datasets from sensors, imaging systems, edge devices, and cloud platforms.
- Improve data quality, labeling strategies, and model performance through experimentation and continuous learning.
- Support MLOps initiatives including model optimization, monitoring, validation, retraining, and deployment automation.
- Collaborate with AI and software engineering teams to productionize models into cloud and edge environments.
- Help define the long-term data and AI strategy for Robotiz3d’s intelligent infrastructure platform.

What We’re Looking For
- MS or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in data science, machine learning, or AI-driven analytics.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
- Computer Vision Expertise with working experience in object detection, image segmentation, and handling noisy, real-world visual data.
- Experience building scalable data pipelines and working with Azure cloud platforms (or AWS/GCP).
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and experimentation methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment

- Experience with edge AI or NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
- Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or industrial automation.
- Experience with cloud-native software architecture and full-stack development.
