Senior Data Scientist – Biostatistics | Contract | Fully Remote
I’m currently working with a growing data science team looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a strong Biostatistics and Statistics background to join on an initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension.
This is a specialist opportunity for someone who enjoys applying statistical expertise to complex data science challenges, with a particular interest in candidates who have experience across biostatistics, disease progression, clinical research, or related areas.
The ideal background:
- Strong Biostatistics / Statistics experience
- 2–3+ years’ experience using R
- Strong analytical and statistical modelling skills
- Good technical and programming capability
- Experience working with complex datasets and applying statistical methodologies
- Experience with disease progression would be highly advantageous
- Commercial Data Science experience preferred
- Strong academic/research backgrounds will also be considered where candidates can demonstrate strong technical skills and commercial awareness

Role details:
- Fully remote – UK & Europe
- Up to £400/day UK / €350/day Europe
- Initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension
- Start required by the end of September
