Senior Data Scientist - AI & Machine Learning - FinTech

I’m working with a well-established FinTech that is investing heavily in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Generative AI. They are looking for a technically strong Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team and work on a range of high-impact, real-world AI solutions.

This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to own projects end-to-end - from identifying and framing problems through to developing, deploying, and improving production-ready solutions.

You’ll work across predictive modelling, machine learning, time-series forecasting, and modern Generative AI, helping turn complex datasets and business challenges into practical technology solutions.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Developing and deploying machine learning and predictive models
  • Building LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and multi-step workflows
  • Working with modern frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar
  • Developing scalable, production-grade Python solutions
  • Working with large and complex datasets, including time-series data
  • Taking ownership of projects from problem definition through to production
  • Collaborating with engineers, analysts, product teams, and senior stakeholders
  • Exploring new developments across Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI
  • Mentoring junior team members and helping raise technical standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
