Role Overview
The post holder will operate as a specialist data scientist within EM-ACE, leading defined analytics and modelling work packages from discovery through to deployment, evaluation and reuse.
The role will combine strong technical delivery with user-centred problem solving, stakeholder communication and coaching of others. The post holder will design and maintain robust analytical code, models and documentation within FDP-aligned environments, ensuring that outputs are reproducible, clinically and operationally meaningful, and capable of adaptation across EMAP organisations.
- Lead delivery of defined EM-ACE data science use cases, ensuring that outputs move beyond analysis into usable products, models or decision support tools.
- Develop, validate and document predictive, evaluative and advanced analytical methods using appropriate statistical, machine learning or operational research approaches.
- Produce reusable RAPs, code libraries, model documentation and implementation guidance that support scale across FDP tenants.
- Coach analysts and junior data scientists in best practices.
