Royal London Asset Management is looking for a Senior Data Strategy Manager to join our Property team on a 14 months fixed term contract. This role will play a key part in shaping and delivering the data strategy for RLAM Property, helping the team make better use of data, technology and insight across fund and portfolio reporting, benchmarking, analytics and decision making. Working closely with senior Property leaders, portfolio fund managers, asset managers and teams across RLAM, you will lead the development of data platforms, processes, governance and reporting solutions that support our active management of property investment assets for internal and external clients.

About The Role

  • Lead the delivery of the RLAM Property data strategy and, where appropriate, refine it to reflect evolving team and reporting requirements, as well as changes in technology.
  • Manage data platforms and processes, driving automation and overseeing accurate data migration and automated data links, including APIs where appropriate.
  • Work with Risk, Compliance, Change Management and Data teams to establish effective data governance, controls and delivery plans.
  • Provide investment performance reporting, fund and portfolio benchmarking and data insight for Heads of Sectors, Portfolio Fund Managers and senior stakeholders.

  • Lead responses to data-related due diligence, RFI and investor queries, presenting data strategy and systems clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
