Org context

The jobholder is responsible for providing technical leadership to a development team whilst delivering data warehousing projects using the latest cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining INOVYN’s Data Warehouse strategic direction using industry trends, prior experience, and technical expertise.
  • Leading a development team, developing high-quality sustainable solutions using cloud data platforms including but not limited to Snowflake, Azure, SNP, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their processes and challenges to architect Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining data warehouse solutions using industry standard tools, including but not limited to: Snowflake, SQL, Azure, and SNP.
  • End-to-end project life cycle: Research, design, documentation, configuration, testing, implementation/go-live, and training.
  • Ensuring the data warehouse is configured to meet the needs of all business units whilst maintaining technical/cyber security standards in line with industry best practices.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficient in data warehousing principles and ETL processes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain complex data models.
  • Advanced SQL querying and optimization skills.
  • Experience using cloud data platforms and their associated optimization techniques including but not limited to Snowflake, Azure, SNP, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Ability to lead a distributed development team with varied cultures and behaviors using modern methodologies.
  • Maintain and promote high standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong communication, fluent in English, an ability to speak a major European language would be advantageous.
