Job Description

This role is with a leading UK manufacturer of high-end office furniture, working within the Sales function and reporting to the Regional Head of Sales (South). Covering London and the southern region, it is focused on the dealer channel: maintaining and growing sales through an allocated portfolio of dealer accounts while identifying and developing new ones, in line with agreed targets.

You will proactively manage your dealer accounts through regular telephone, email and site contact, running regular reviews to monitor contract performance and open up additional business, whether that is further products or wider services. Alongside the existing network you will develop new dealer relationships in line with agreed strategy, respond to requests for information, literature and tenders, and produce clear, accurate quotations, briefs and proposals.

Product knowledge and presentation are central. You will deliver presentations and demonstrations of new and existing products to dealer teams, arrange the delivery and return of demonstration stock, keep dealers current on product developments, and represent the business at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. You will negotiate terms of business including price, delivery and specification, and actively promote the wider service portfolio spanning installation, the service centre, ergonomics and recycling.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The position is collaborative and outward looking. You will work with the wider UK and EMEA sales teams on project opportunities, support Customer Services and the Continuous Improvement Department in resolving complaints including reports, photographs and site visits, and gather market and dealer intelligence, feeding competitor and market trends back to the Sales Management and Design teams. You will also own account reporting documentation and database management, submit monthly and ad hoc reports, and run inductions for new dealer accounts. There is no supervisory responsibility attached to the position.

Requirements

  • Substantial B2B account management experience, ideally within a dealer, channel or distributor sales model.
  • A track record of growing existing accounts and opening new ones against agreed sales targets.
  • Confident producing quotations, briefs, proposals and tender responses to a professional standard.
  • Strong presentation and product demonstration skills, in person and remotely.
  • Commercial negotiation experience covering price, delivery and specification.
  • Comfortable working across wider UK and international teams on project opportunities.
  • Well organised, with the discipline to manage reporting documentation, database records and monthly reporting.
  • Willingness to travel, with regular dealer site visits, exhibitions and events.
  • Office furniture, interiors or a related premium product background is an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence.
