Responsibilities
The Senior Delegated Underwriting Authority Analyst is responsible for the oversight of our delegated authority portfolio and managing associated risks. This encompasses coverholder due diligence, audit management, and ongoing monitoring.
More Specifically, This Includes
- Effective and timely due diligence into coverholders and third parties (including new, renewal, and Lloyd's coverholder tribunalisations) to ensure compliance with both regulatory and internal requirements.
- Accurate and timely pre-bind reviews of delegated authority contracts.
- Proactive management of our coverholder audit cycle; including planning, scheduling, scoping, auditor liaison, and the remediation of recommendations.
- Accurate peer review of bordereau management system accounts, mappings, and validations created by the offshore team, liaising with SMEs as needed.
- Liaising with the Delegated Reporting Manager to ensure that bordereaux are received in a timely manner and to specification.
- Accurate reporting of performance metrics to internal stakeholders, including participating in the Delegated Underwriting Group.
- Supporting wider efforts to ensure that systems, controls, and record keeping are in place to deliver the above outcomes.
- Using subject matter knowledge and experience to advise underwriters and troubleshoot issues.
- Supporting the development of more junior members of the team, and deputising for more senior members of the team where requested.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of delegated authority management; including due diligence, audit, bordereaux, market systems (e.g. Atlas and DCOM), and regulatory requirements.
- Effective interpersonal skills. Professional and approachable with a ‘can do’ attitude, and the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
