Senior Delivery Engineer

Salary: £65k per annum
Working pattern: Remote

We’re working with an large organisation that is looking for a Senior Delivery Engineer to join a growing technical team, working on the delivery of infrastructure, migration and cloud transformation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering infrastructure, migration and cloud projects for customers.
  • Building and migrating VMware and Microsoft environments.
  • Working across VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Supporting technical discovery, implementation, testing, migration and go-live.
  • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and acting as a technical escalation point.
  • Producing technical documentation, migration plans and handover material.
  • Working closely with project managers, architects and engineering teams.
  • Supporting automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.

Skills

  • Strong commercial experience in infrastructure engineering and project delivery.
  • Solid VMware experience across vSphere, ESXi and vCenter.
  • Strong Microsoft infrastructure knowledge, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Practical Azure / hybrid cloud experience.
  • Experience delivering migrations, upgrades or infrastructure transformation projects.
  • Comfortable working directly with customers and taking ownership of technical deliverables.
  • Experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, Terraform or Bicep would be advantageous.
