Senior MLS Delivery Manager – Finance & Projects

Location: London / Manchester / Birmingham / Leeds / Edinburgh / Glasgow

Working Model: Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH

Compensation: Competitive salary + benefits

We're partnered with a leading international law firm seeking a Senior MLS Delivery Manager to join its expanding Centre of Excellence.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee several legal delivery teams across Finance & Banking and Construction & Projects, while helping shape how legal services are delivered to lawyers and clients globally.

You'll be responsible for helping develop the firm's wider Managed Legal Services offering, including:

  • Managing multiple legal delivery teams and ensuring consistently high service levels
  • Developing scalable legal service delivery models
  • Leading people development, career frameworks, and succession planning
  • Building relationships with senior stakeholders and lawyers
  • Supporting client solutions, RFPs, and pitches
  • Owning utilisation, profitability, forecasting, budgets, and operational KPIs
  • Driving process optimisation and continuous improvement
  • Leading the adoption of legal technology and AI-enabled solutions
  • Using data and operational insight to improve service delivery
  • Supporting strategic workforce planning and team growth
  • Directly managing paralegals where required

Requirements

  • Strong experience managing paralegal or legal delivery teams
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and talent development
  • A strong understanding of legal service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Experience delivering transformation or continuous improvement projects
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, lawyers, and clients
  • Commercial awareness and experience with budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics
  • An interest in how technology and AI can transform legal service delivery
