Senior Delivery Manager | Up to £490/day Inside IR35 | Newcastle, Birmingham or Leeds
Futureheads have exclusively partnered with a large UK public sector organisation delivering digital services at national scale, supporting millions of people across the UK.
We're looking for two experienced Senior Delivery Managers to join a major Data & Analytics function at a time of significant transformation. This is an opportunity to shape how large-scale data initiatives are delivered, working across a complex environment where strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery expertise are essential.
About the opportunity
- You'll work closely with the Head of Delivery and senior stakeholders across the organisation to create and drive delivery plans for key Data & Analytics initiatives.
- This role sits above individual product or project delivery, focusing on improving consistency, governance, planning, and delivery performance across a broad portfolio of work.
- You'll play a key role in bringing greater structure and predictability to delivery, managing dependencies across teams, and helping mature delivery practices across the wider directorate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
