Are you a digital delivery expert looking to make their mark on one of the UK’s largest health charities?
As a Senior Delivery Manager, supporting our Digital Services, you’ll play a central role in supporting British Heart Foundation (BHF) realise its aims and power groundbreaking research to save and improve lives.
You’ll be responsible for delivering business outcomes within the Digital Services space, ensuring that bhf.org.uk and associated platforms enable us to maximise our marketing, fundraising and engagement ambitions.
Working closely with our Delivery, QA, Product Owners and Engineering teams to ensure our end-to-end delivery processes are optimised, tracked and are delivering effectively, you’ll also have overall accountability for delivering management of change projects that involve our CMS.
Working arrangements
Please note, this is an 12-month fixed term contract, covering family leave.
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you’ll have:
- Significant relevant industry experience of Scrum
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CMS within an organisation of significant size
- Expert knowledge of Jira workflow management
- Expert knowledge of project management and delivery methodologies e.g. PRINCE2, Agile
- Experience of leading multiple Scrum teams to drive change
- Ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions, balance multiple priorities, manage ambiguity and deliver results to deadline and budget.

With effective communication and influencing skills, able to collaborate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders and external partners, you’ll have a strong visionary mindset, be a change advocate able to see the bigger picture and be able to identify and track dependencies across diverse projects.
You’ll be an excellent strategic thinker, and product leader with strong commercial nous, and will have excellent technical skill, effective at simplifying complex problems into component parts for short, medium and long-term delivery.
With excellent planning and organising skills, you’ll be effective at prioritising, scheduling and tracking work across dependencies taking account of deadlines, staffing and resource requirements.

Interview process
First stage interviews will be a short one-way video interview; successful candidates will then be invited to attend an interview via MS Teams, with final stage interview held at our London offices.
