Be the forecasting expert behind better planning, stronger performance and business growth.

At Hilti, we're transforming the way we forecast demand to support smarter decision-making across our global supply chain. We're looking for a Senior Demand Forecasting Analyst to become our forecasting subject matter expert, helping the business make better decisions through accurate, data-driven demand forecasts.

In this role, you'll combine deep expertise in time-series analysis, statistical forecasting, and demand analytics with strong business partnering capabilities to develop, maintain, identify and continuously improve our forecasting capabilities. The Senior Forecasting Expert identifies demand patterns, trends, seasonality, lifecycle effects, and forecast drivers, applying appropriate forecasting models and continuously improving forecast performance through data-driven analysis.

Working with SAP APO today and supporting our transition to SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), you'll ensure that our forecasting methodologies deliver reliable, unbiased demand signals that drive planning, inventory management and business performance.

You'll work closely with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance teams, translating complex data into actionable insights and helping stakeholders understand forecast assumptions, risks and opportunities. You'll also play a key role in developing forecasting capability across the organisation, coaching demand planners and championing best practices as part of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and continuously improve statistical forecasting methodologies within SAP APO and future SAP IBP.
  • Analyse historical demand data to create robust and reliable baseline forecasts.
  • Identify demand patterns, trends, seasonality and product lifecycle impacts to improve forecast quality.
  • Select, validate and optimise forecasting models to enhance accuracy and minimise forecast bias.
  • Monitor and analyse forecasting performance using KPIs such as WMAPE, Bias, SPEC and Forecast Value Add (FVA).
  • Provide clear insights on forecasting risks, opportunities and business implications to key stakeholders.
  • Present forecasting performance, findings and improvement recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance teams to align forecasting assumptions and decision-making.
  • Coach and mentor demand planners on forecasting principles, statistical methods and system capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain forecasting standards, governance and best practices across the organisation.
  • Support the successful migration of forecasting capabilities from SAP APO to SAP IBP.
  • Act as the organisation's forecasting expert and centre of excellence for demand analytics and forecasting methodologies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
