We're working with an award-winning architectural practice renowned for delivering exceptional prime and super-prime residential projects for discerning private clients. The practice has built an outstanding reputation for creating bespoke homes that combine timeless design with technical excellence, working on some of London's most prestigious private commissions.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented Senior Design Architect to lead the creative development of projects from initial client brief through to planning and developed design.
The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished designer who enjoys the early stages of architecture, transforming ideas into beautifully resolved design proposals.
Working closely with the Directors, you'll take ownership of projects through RIBA Stages 0–3, leading the design process from initial briefing and concept development through to planning submission. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural vision, presenting ideas directly to clients and ensuring the integrity of the design is maintained as projects transition into the technical delivery stages.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
