Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Design Engineer - PAVA (Public Address and Voice Alarm) to join our Network Services team, supporting engineering projects across the Nuclear space. This is a technical delivery role focused on the end-to-end design of Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems, from early design through to detailed design, documentation, testing, configuration and validation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of PAVA projects, producing high-quality design documentation that meets project specifications, standards and regulations.
  • Develop detailed design outputs, including drawings, bills of materials, compliance statements, calculations, surveys, test procedures and commissioning documentation.
  • Take designs from early-stage requirements through to detailed design, including HLD, LLD, configuration, testing and validation activities.
  • Review design dependencies, technical information and design documentation produced by colleagues, suppliers or project teams.
  • Work closely with colleagues, suppliers, clients and internal teams to resolve technical design queries and support project delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement by reviewing processes, recommending best practice and sharing technical knowledge across the team.
  • Provide technical guidance to design engineers and junior engineers, while remaining focused on technical delivery rather than people or project management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
