About the Role
Seeking a Senior Design Engineer with an electro-mechanical skillset, it would be even more amazing if you have electronics exposure too, e.g.,
- PCB development
- IoT implementation
- Embedded software/C++

This hybrid role is based in Basildon, Essex, with 2 days per week working from home.
Salary
Up to £60,000 depending on your skills and experience, plus an annual performance-related bonus.
Key Requirements
- Electro-mechanical products: It's important that you have a substantial background developing and designing electro-mechanical products within a manufacturing environment; there is a big focus on NPD.
- Technical skills: You should have a working knowledge of plastics injection moulding processes, plus an understanding of fluid dynamics, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, etc.
- Design skills: Strong technical design skills are important here, working to an advanced level with both 2D CAD and 3D modelling via Solidworks.
- Education: You will ideally be degree-level qualified in a relevant subject, e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, plus excellent project management skills.
