Job title: Senior Design Manager
Location: Derby
Salary: Up to £85k + Package
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to join a well-established, family-owned regional contractor based in Derby, known for its strong reputation, quality of work, and excellent staff retention.
The business delivers £5m–£30m projects across the education, commercial, industrial, and leisure sectors, with the majority of projects delivered through JCT Design & Build contracts.
Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, they are looking to appoint a Senior Design Manager to take a lead role across one of their projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from pre-construction through to delivery
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team
- Manage design programmes, quality, and compliance
- Take lead design responsibility across projects
- Report directly to the Head of Design
- Take on greater responsibility within a growing business
