Senior Design Manager
DATA CENTRE DEVELOPER
£115,000 per annum
London – Hybrid
We are looking for a Senior Design Manager to join a leading developer and operator within the data centre sector. This is a senior technical role, taking responsibility for the design and engineering delivery of major new-build developments and upgrades across live data centre environments.
The Company

- Growing portfolio of large-scale, multi-MW data centre developments.
- Strong pipeline of new-build, expansion and infrastructure upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
- The Senior Design Manager will lead the design development of new data centre buildings and major infrastructure upgrades.
- The Senior Design Manager will manage and challenge multi-disciplinary design teams across MEP, CSA, controls and other specialist disciplines.
- Work closely with project delivery and operational teams throughout design, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Provide technical leadership within your core mechanical or electrical discipline and support more junior Design Managers.

Skills and Background
- BSc/BEng or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' engineering/design experience with a strong mechanical or electrical technical background.
- 5+ years' experience in the design and delivery of multi-MW data centre projects.
- Strong knowledge of critical infrastructure including power distribution, UPS, generators, cooling and BMS/controls.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams and delivering projects through construction and commissioning.
