The person we're looking for

We're seeking a Senior Design Technology Lead to lead and unite our growing technology practice. This is an in-agency role, the first of its kind, and will work closely with our development partners to ensure alignment across every engagement. Internally, we have a team of technologists and web developers who would report directly into this role, so the ideal candidate is someone who can bring our tech people together in a meaningful way, shape the department's direction, and lead both the delivery and technical strategy that connects design and engineering across everything we do.

Job Overview

Some things you will be responsible for:

Delivery & Operational Leadership

  • Shape how your team works and grows. Coach direct reports through goal-setting conversations, build a culture where engineers and designers thrive together, and hold the bar on Multiplayer's quality across workstreams.
  • Lead planning and execution across multiple concurrent engagements, managing workstreams, priorities, scope, resourcing, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with development partners to ensure alignment on technical direction, implementation standards, milestones, and project expectations.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, engineering practices, AI capabilities, and industry trends, introducing improvements where they provide measurable value.
  • Ensure Multiplayer’s quality standards are consistently upheld across every engagement, from technical execution through final delivery.
  • Create clear technical direction and decision-making frameworks that empower teams to move confidently while maintaining consistency across projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Build rapid prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and technical explorations using the most appropriate technologies, including hardware integrations and physical computing where applicable.
  • Partner closely with designers, strategists, product teams, and clients to translate design intent into clear technical architecture, implementation plans, and engineering requirements.
  • Establish engineering standards, code quality expectations, and QA practices that ensure consistent, reliable delivery across all projects.
  • Identify technical risks early, communicate trade-offs clearly, and recommend solutions that balance business goals, user experience, and engineering effort.
