About us
We’re Brandpie, an independent consultancy that helps organisations unlock growth at pivotal business moments. Leadership change, merger, acquisition, divestment, IPO, category shift—these are the times when everything matters and this is where we come in.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with 150+ businesses worldwide to define vision, ambition and strategy, shape brands and create experiences that drive transformation. Along the way, we’ve also been named one of the Financial Times’ leading Management Consultancies every year since 2018 and recognised as a World Class place to work by Best Companies in 2023.
Why this role now?
Brandpie is growing, and we’re entering an exciting new phase.
We’re working with ambitious organisations at pivotal moments – moments of change, transformation and growth – and our own ambitions are growing too. We want to build deeper relationships with our clients, create more opportunities across our business and continue raising the bar for the work we put into the world.
To do that, we need brilliant creative people who want to grow with us.
We’re looking for a Senior Designer who wants to be part of that next chapter. Someone excited by the opportunity to shape ambitious work, build trusted client relationships and make their mark on our creative culture and not simply step into a predefined role.
Role purpose
As a Senior Designer, you’ll help turn strategic thinking into bold, distinctive creative ideas.
You’ll bring your own point of view to the work, push ideas further and increasingly take ownership of projects – from shaping the creative narrative through to bringing it brilliantly to life.
But this role is bigger than your own output. You’ll help make the people around you better, build confidence with clients and contribute to the creative energy and ambition of Brandpie.
It’s a role for someone ready for more autonomy, more influence and more opportunity to shape what comes next. This reflects the progression in the Senior Designer competencies towards greater independence, strategic thinking, client contact and ownership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll do
- You’ll create bold, inspiring ideas and develop them into clear, compelling creative narratives.
- You’ll lead the design on smaller projects and play an important creative role on larger ones, working closely with strategists, writers, client partners and designers across Brandpie.
- You’ll present your thinking directly to clients – not just showing the answer, but telling the story behind it and bringing people with you.
- You’ll care deeply about craft and keep developing your own expertise, while helping junior and mid-weight designers develop theirs through thoughtful direction, feedback and encouragement.
- And you’ll look beyond the immediate brief. You’ll spot opportunities to make the work stronger, deepen client relationships, connect different parts of Brandpie and contribute ideas that help us evolve what we offer.
Who you are
- You’re a creative thinker with a point of view. You don’t just make things beautifully; you have something to say. You’re curious about businesses, brands, culture and the world around you, and you bring those influences into your thinking.
- You’re ambitious for the work. You push beyond the obvious, challenge yourself and others and keep going until an idea feels genuinely distinctive.
- You’re a natural owner. You create momentum, make decisions and are comfortable finding your way through ambiguity. You know when to ask for input, but you don’t wait to be told what happens next.
- You’re confident without the ego. You can hold a room, articulate an idea and challenge a point of view, while staying open, generous and interested in what other people bring.
- You’re big-hearted with your talent. You share what you know. You give useful feedback. You want the people around you to succeed and understand that brilliant creative work is rarely the product of one person.
- And you’re still hungry to grow. You’re building your own creative voice, sharpening your craft and becoming increasingly interested in the bigger picture – clients, relationships, opportunities and the kind of creative business you want to help build.
