Senior Designer – Workplace Design & Build

Location: London
Salary: Up to £90,000 (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Designer to join one of London's leading Design & Build companies. This is a key client-facing position, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile workplace projects from initial concept through to completion.

We are seeking an exceptional designer with a strong portfolio of UK commercial workplace projects and the confidence to lead presentations, pitch creative concepts, and build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of commercial workplace projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop innovative and creative workplace design solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Present and pitch design concepts confidently to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead design workshops and client meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, technical designers and delivery teams.
  • Mentor and support junior designers within the studio.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest design standards.

Requirements

  • Significant experience within UK Workplace Design or Commercial Interiors.
  • Previous experience working within a Design & Build environment is highly desirable.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication and client-facing skills.
  • Proven experience leading projects and managing client relationships.
  • Strong design, space planning and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Revit experience would be advantageous).
