Role Description

The Senior Designer will play a key role in developing and delivering standout creative solutions across brand identity, campaigns, and digital and print collateral. On a day-to-day basis, this role will translate strategic insights into compelling visual concepts, create design systems, refine layouts and typography, and prepare artwork for production. The Senior Designer will collaborate closely with strategists, copywriters, and other designers, participate in client presentations, and provide clear rationale for design decisions. This is a temporary, full-time, on-site role based in Bristol, requiring regular studio presence and active contribution to the creative culture of the team.

  • Strong expertise in brand design, visual identity development, and art direction, with a portfolio demonstrating concept-led work for campaigns and brand systems.
  • Advanced skills in layout, typography, and composition, with the ability to create polished designs across print, digital, and social media formats.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma or similar) and familiarity with preparing files for production.
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, presenting work to clients or stakeholders, and incorporating feedback while maintaining design integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced studio environment, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to explain design choices clearly and to contribute ideas that support strategic and creative goals.
  • Experience in branding or creative agencies, and familiarity with employee experience or campaign work, is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant design qualification or equivalent professional experience in graphic design, communication design, or a related field.
