Role: Senior Experience Designer (7+ years)
Location: Dublin or London
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
The Role
My client are looking for a Senior Experience Designer to originate bold ideas and design experiences that people remember. You’ll take on high-value briefs, develop the creative concept, and shape every aspect of the experience — from the overall idea and spatial design to the sensory details that make it feel meaningful and memorable. You’ll work closely with creative, strategy and production teams to turn ambitious ideas into impactful, achievable experiences for leading global brands and organisations.
Experience & Background
- 7+ years’ experience in an experiential, creative or design agency, including at least 2 years leading creative briefs and originating concepts.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating diverse, high-quality brand experience work.
- Proven experience developing creative concepts for major pitches and RFPs, ideally with budgets of €500k+.
- Experience creating ideas that connect with audiences and deliver measurable impact.
- Ability to take an idea from a blank page through to experience design, spatial thinking and sensory detail.
- Strong understanding of how successful experiences are measured and evaluated.

Key Responsibilities
- Originate ideas: Develop clear, original and emotionally engaging concepts that solve the brief.
- Design the experience: Shape the full journey, from arrival to exit, considering space, flow, atmosphere and sensory detail.
- Lead creative thinking: Drive the creative direction on major pitches and projects.
- Collaborate with production: Develop ambitious ideas that are also practical, costable and deliverable.
- Present with confidence: Communicate and sell creative ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Raise the creative standard: Share knowledge, challenge thinking and inspire those around you through the quality of your work.
Skills & Qualities
- Strong human-centred and user-focused design approach.
- Excellent conceptual and strategic thinking.
- Ability to think spatially and experientially across three dimensions, including flow, scale, light, sound and materials.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, with a strong understanding of spatial and motion design.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of what makes an idea achievable.
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity about emerging trends, technologies and best practice across experience, design and entertainment.
