About The Role

We have partnered with a design-led studio that specialises in creative commercial and retrofit projects and is looking for an enthusiastic and personable Senior Designer to join their team.

Based in their vibrant central London office, you will play a pivotal role in translating creative concepts into detailed and executable designs. Your prior experience working on commercial projects, either architectural or interior focused, will be crucial in ensuring designs are not only visually engaging but also functional, feasible and delivered to a high standard.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Designer with either an architectural or interiors background who wants to take greater ownership of projects, work collaboratively within a social and adaptable team, and demonstrate a genuine passion for challenging the norm and creating thoughtful, buildable design solutions.

Offering a comprehensive benefits package and a vibrant social calendar, this role provides an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding practice. Benefits include generous annual leave, healthcare schemes and life insurance, excellent opportunities for career progression, a cycle to work scheme, and regular companywide events and socials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of creative concepts and detailed design proposals across commercial and workplace projects, creating thoughtful, original and commercially viable solutions that respond to the client’s vision, brief and brand.
  • Manage multiple projects and collaborate with internal teams, architects, consultants and contractors, ensuring designs are coordinated, practical and buildable through all stages of delivery.
  • Build strong client relationships through a consultative and collaborative approach, confidently presenting and pitching design concepts, incorporating feedback and contributing to presentations, pitch documentation and other client-facing materials.
  • Develop high-quality technical and design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications and the selection of materials, finishes, furniture and FF&E, while maintaining design intent through construction and site delivery.
  • Support and mentor junior designers while contributing to the wider creative team, sharing knowledge, maintaining high design standards and bringing fresh ideas through an awareness of emerging trends, materials, products and innovations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
