This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who enjoys combining creativity with collaboration. Working closely with our Marketing team and stakeholders across the firm, you'll help create high-quality, audience-focused content that brings our brand to life and supports our business objectives.
As a senior member of the team, you'll also provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to another Graphic Designer, helping coordinate Marketing-led work and Firmwide assets while supporting their development and maintaining high creative standards.
With a range of exciting projects in the pipeline, this role offers the opportunity to influence how our brand evolves while continuing to develop your own career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
What will your role look like?
Working as part of our in-house Design team, you'll collaborate with colleagues across Marketing and the wider business to create engaging and impactful visual communications across a variety of channels and formats.
Though this is a varied role, your key tasks will include:
- Applying high-quality design across Marketing-led campaigns and Firmwide assets, creating audience-focused, clear and engaging content while maintaining the integrity of the Hymans Robertson brand.
- Coordinating requests for Marketing-led and Firmwide design work, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
- Creating publications, presentations, campaign materials, digital content, social media graphics, video, animation and web content.
- Developing and maintaining templates across Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
- Producing graphics, infographics and motion assets that help communicate complex information in a clear and compelling way.
- Building strong relationships with Marketing colleagues and stakeholders across the firm, managing expectations and timelines to deliver successful outcomes.
- Supporting the delivery of creative campaigns and driving innovative approaches that help our brand stand out.
- Providing day-to-day mentoring, guidance and feedback to another Graphic Designer, supporting their development and helping coordinate workloads.
- Upholding brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across all visual communications.
- Liaising with external print and production suppliers where required.
To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong animation and motion design skills using Adobe After Effects, with experience of Adobe Premiere Pro being advantageous.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence across both print and digital channels.
- Confidence managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to interpret complex information and transform it into clear, engaging and visually compelling content.
- A creative mindset with the confidence to challenge conventional thinking and find innovative ways to communicate messages.
- A positive, proactive and adaptable approach, with a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, would be beneficial.
- Experience with Readymag or similar web-building platforms would be advantageous, as would familiarity with Flourish.
- Experience capturing video content at events would be welcomed but is not essential.
- Experience working within a professional services, consultancy or corporate environment would be beneficial.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
