Job Description
The Adviser Marketing team leads how we position, communicate and engage with UK financial advisers across our advised platform offering and Managed Portfolio Service. Working closely with commercial, proposition, product, sales and compliance stakeholders, the team helps strengthen adviser relationships, support growth ambitions and create marketing experiences that enable our clients to be better investors. The culture is collaborative, ambitious and focused on continuous improvement.
About the Role
This is an exciting senior opportunity to lead the creative development and design quality of Aberdeen Adviser’s multi-channel marketing activity. You will own and evolve a scalable Figma-based design system, helping the marketing team deliver consistent, effective and engaging communications across campaigns, web, social media, events, presentations and adviser communications. The role offers the chance to shape how a major financial services brand is perceived while working with a growing marketing function that combines deep industry expertise with modern fintech and B2B SaaS marketing capability. It is an opportunity to invest in your tomorrow by influencing brand standards, enhancing customer engagement and driving measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative execution across campaigns, digital channels, events, presentations, reports, emails and sales enablement materials.
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system, including reusable components, templates, brand assets and creative guidelines.
- Translate complex financial services propositions into clear, engaging and accessible visual communications for financial advisers.
- Partner with marketing, sales, product, proposition and compliance teams to deliver commercially effective and on-brand content.
- Manage agencies and freelancers, providing creative direction and ensuring consistent design quality.
- Use performance data, stakeholder feedback and audience insight to continuously improve creative effectiveness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
