Design pieces with personality. See your ideas become collections.
A distinctive print. An unexpected colour combination. A piece of furniture that makes a room. If you love designing homeware with something to say and know how to take an idea through to a finished product, we’d love to see your work.
The opportunity
Rockett St George is recruiting a Senior Designer & Product Manager – Homeware to lead the creative and product development of our homeware collections for a major retail partner.
Working closely with our Directors, you will translate the Rockett St George brand vision into distinctive, commercially successful collections across textiles, hard goods, lighting, furniture and upholstery.
You will be the main design and product contact for our retail partner, leading collections from initial concept through development to launch. You will work closely with their buying, design and technical teams, supported by the Rockett St George Designer.
Whilst homeware collections for our main retail partnership are the primary responsibility, the role may also contribute to selected Rockett St George own-brand products, collaborations and other categories where design support is needed.
Why this role?
You’ll have the opportunity to shape whole collections, working directly with the Directors and seeing your ideas develop from the first mood board to products in customers’ homes.
The breadth of categories offers room to explore your creativity across colour, pattern, materials and form. Alongside the design work, you’ll have a clear voice in presentations, product decisions and the commercial thinking behind each collection.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
