About the Role

The Senior Designer is responsible for creating distinctive, beautifully crafted work across a wide range of customer touchpoints, helping brands show up consistently and effectively wherever their customers encounter them.

This is a hands-on senior design role, combining strong conceptual thinking with excellent creative craft. You’ll take briefs from initial idea through to final execution, creating work across campaigns, social, digital, CRM, content, print, and physical environments.

You’ll understand how to take a core creative idea or established brand identity and translate it intelligently across different formats and channels, adapting the work to suit the medium without losing what makes the idea or brand distinctive.

Working closely with Creative Directors, copywriters, strategists, social, and production teams, you’ll play an important role in raising the creative standard of the work. You’ll be confident taking ownership of briefs, presenting your thinking, and responding constructively to creative direction.

What You'll Be Doing

Design & Creative

  • Develop strong creative concepts and design solutions from initial brief through to final execution.
  • Create beautifully crafted work with a sophisticated understanding of typography, composition, imagery, colour, and visual storytelling.
  • Work confidently within established brand identities while identifying opportunities to evolve and strengthen their visual expression.
  • Translate creative concepts into compelling design across campaign, social, digital, CRM, content, print, and physical/retail environments.

Social & Digital

  • Bring a strong understanding of social and digital design, including how creative needs to behave across different platforms, formats, and customer touchpoints.
  • Design work specifically for social environments rather than simply resizing or adapting campaign assets.
  • Understand the principles of social-first content, including the importance of pace, format, visual storytelling, and platform behaviours.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
