We are seeking an experienced Designer/ Senior Designer to join our fast-growing business
The Designer must be passionate about product, confident and highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
The role is based at our Cheltenham office, in which there is a friendly and supportive team who make the settling into a new role and company easy and exciting.

The Role – Senior Designer (Multi Categories)
Through in-depth broad market and customer awareness and research, identify and realise new product and design opportunities aligned to our overall Product strategy to grow the business.
Through strong understanding of fabric, engineering, fit and quality, produce CAD designs to a high technical standard.
- Manage Technical Specifications, to include specialist knowledge of techniques, materials & construction methods
- Interact on a daily basis with factories/vendors to problem solve all issues related to garment engineering for production
- Responsible for ensuring that each of the designs are produced to the desired specifications, quality and price
- Deliver superior product from concept to completion, including all branding, labelling & packaging
- Accountable for all sample tracking, co-ordination & comments up to and including pre-production samples
- Provide direction to Trainee, Assistant Designers & Designers, Helping to manage workload across departments & product categories
- Work to the Critical path to meet deadlines

The position is based UK, but travelling abroad, during peak product design/development seasons and production may be required.

About You
- A relevant design or industrial design qualification to BA (Hons) standard or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 Years experience
- Experience of Managing a team
- Previous experience working for a brand preferable, but not essential
- Previous Experience of working on Outerwear preferable, but not essential
- Must have a detailed understanding of manufacturing techniques
- Must have good interpersonal skills to deal with various cultures and personalities.
- Have a strong team collaboration and networking attitude
- Passionate about product with a high attention to detail.
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment and be open-minded to continuous change and improvement.
- You will strive for continuous improvement in process and product specifications.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills.
- Proficient IT user including use of CAD, Photoshop and Illustrator
