Senior C#.NET Developer
As a Senior C#.NET Developer, you'll join a specialist data engineering team within a global energy trading organisation, developing data-driven applications and solutions that support trading decisions across European energy markets.
Working with large volumes of complex data across Power, Gas, LNG and Carbon markets, you'll be involved in building and enhancing applications that support energy trading, market analysis, and asset optimisation. This includes working with data relating to renewable energy, weather forecasting, and energy storage, helping to improve strategies.
You will work closely with software engineers, data specialists, and business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, high-performance C#.NET applications, taking ownership of solutions across the full software development lifecycle. You'll also have the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies and messaging services, contributing to the development of systems that process and manage large volumes of energy market data.

Tech Stack: C#, C#.NET,.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Azure, Azure Service Bus, SQL Server, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Azure DevOps.
The Package:
- Up to £90K + 15% bonus + 10% pension + benefits
- London | Hybrid working | 3 days per week in the office
Skills Required:
- Strong commercial experience as a Senior C#.NET Developer
- Experience developing data-driven applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Strong SQL Server experience, including database design, development, and optimisation.
- Experience working with Azure and cloud-based technologies.
- Exposure to messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD would be beneficial.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and application performance.
- Experience working with large datasets, high-volume data processing, or data-intensive applications.
