Grid Dynamics/JUXT FX Risk Platform Developer Opportunity
Grid Dynamics/JUXT is partnering with a Tier 1 investment bank on a strategic initiative to build its next-generation FX Risk Platform: consolidating risk management capabilities into a modern, scalable architecture and decommissioning multiple legacy risk applications. This role builds the platform's FX Options end-of-day Official Valuation capabilities, supporting the bank's Asia FX trading desk. The platform is built in Java and Kotlin on Apache Flink, and the work runs the full delivery cycle from requirements through design, development, testing and release, embedded with the bank's engineers who own the EOD module.
Responsibilities
- Building FX Options end-of-day Official Valuation capabilities on the new platform;
- Developing Java/Kotlin stream-processing pipelines on Apache Flink where correctness matters above all;
- Engaging directly with trading desks and partner systems to gather and refine requirements;
- Owning changes through the full cycle of design, review, development, testing and release;
- Supporting the decommissioning of the legacy applications the new capabilities replace.

Requirements
- Strong Kotlin and core Java, with experience building and operating production data-processing systems;
- Good understanding of Apache Flink, or deep experience with comparable stream-processing frameworks and a clear appetite to go deep on Flink;
- Rigour around correctness such as testing, reconciliation, and careful handling of late, missing or corrected data;
- Clear communication with trading desks, partner systems and the module's owners.
Highly valued:
- FX or derivatives domain knowledge, especially options, valuations and end-of-day processes;
- Experience supporting trading desks across time zones;
- Experience In Banking Or Other Large Regulated Enterprises.
