Senior Front-end Developer

We're looking for an experienced Senior Front-end Developer to work with a leading creative production and brand experience business, with a particular focus on its e-commerce platforms.

Shopify is central to this role. You'll have extensive hands-on experience building and maintaining Shopify storefronts, alongside the expertise to advise on the right architecture for multi-brand and multi-region operations.

Working closely with product teams, you'll help define requirements, shape technical solutions, and deliver projects from conception through to completion. You'll also collaborate with other engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior team members.

This is a hybrid role based in London, we can't consider remote applications for this role and cannot offer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Building, customising, and maintaining Shopify storefronts and themes.
  • Advising on Shopify architecture and configuration for multi-brand and multi-region storefronts.
  • Working with product teams to define requirements and plan technical solutions.
  • Developing front-end functionality using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Sass, and HTML.
  • Building reusable components and maintainable front-end solutions.
  • Collaborating with front-end and back-end engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
  • Evaluating Shopify's native capabilities against custom development requirements.
  • Maintaining high standards of code quality, version control, and deployment practices.
  • Managing multiple projects and mentoring junior developers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Enjoy sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and finding practical solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Experience with headless Shopify builds, Shopify app development, Docker, Node.js server-side rendering, Python/Django, large-scale React applications, or open-source projects would be beneficial but isn't essential.
