Position: Senior Development Engineer
Location: Ellesmere Port
Job Type: Permanent
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Development Engineer for a permanent opportunity with an established housebuilder in Ellesmere Port. The successful candidate will have a strong residential development background and experience coordinating the engineering requirements of new build housing developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering designs for new build residential developments
- Manage highways, drainage, utilities and infrastructure requirements
- Liaise with external consultants, local authorities and utility providers
- Secure technical approvals and ensure designs meet required standards
- Work closely with land, planning, commercial and construction teams
- Review engineering information and resolve technical issues throughout development
- Manage external engineering consultants and monitor project progress

Requirements
- Previous experience within a housebuilding environment (essential)
- Strong knowledge of residential development engineering
- Experience with highways, drainage and infrastructure design
- Good understanding of technical approvals and adoption processes
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Salary
Up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience
