Client Side - Sector Agnostic portfolio - Senior Development Manager
About
Private Property Investment & Development
This is an opportunity to take on a visible client-side role within an established private property investment and development business. You will help shape the redevelopment and repositioning of a substantial London portfolio, contributing to projects that create lasting value across a varied mix of assets.
The Role
You will play an active role across the full development lifecycle, combining strategic input with hands-on delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess development opportunities through robust appraisals, feasibility studies and viability analysis.
- Shape and manage planning strategies that support successful project outcomes.
- Lead design development and coordinate consultants to keep projects moving with clarity and purpose.
- Lead procurement activity and manage contractor relationships.
- Drive project delivery through the construction phase to completion.
- Maintain clear oversight of budgets, programmes and project risks.
- Partner closely with internal asset management and property teams to align development activity with wider portfolio objectives.

About You
Bring your experience, judgement and energy

You will be an experienced Development Manager or Development Project Manager with strong end-to-end knowledge of planning, appraisals, viability, design management and construction. You will be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery and confident working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in the redevelopment and repositioning of existing assets would be particularly valuable. You will enjoy managing several projects at different stages, bringing sound judgement, commercial awareness and a collaborative approach to each one.
