Senior Developer / Planning

London, UK (Hybrid)

£70,000 - £85,000 per annum

Our client is a well-capitalised UK renewable energy developer taking a portfolio of utility-scale projects through planning and on towards construction. On a pipeline like this, consent is where most of the value is won or lost, and this role exists to own that. You would lead planning risk, consenting strategy and condition discharge across several projects heading to FID. It suits a developer with a strong planning background, or a planning professional ready to move client-side into development.

The Company

Our client is a growing developer with a substantial UK pipeline of utility-scale renewable projects. You take projects through late-stage development yourself rather than handing them off at consent, and planning expertise sits at the centre of how project decisions get made. You would be the internal reference point on planning and consenting, working closely with land, grid, commercial and technical colleagues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
