We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a large enterprise environment in London, supporting major platform, infrastructure and DevOps transformation initiatives.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who can operate independently, proactively pick up work and drive it through to delivery.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing, implementing and supporting enterprise-scale DevOps and platform engineering solutions
- Managing and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and on-premises infrastructure
- Developing automation using Python, Bash and Ansible
- Designing, supporting and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines
- Working extensively with GitLab, Jenkins and Git
- Supporting large-scale migration, modernisation and infrastructure transformation programmes
- Automating operational, deployment and infrastructure processes
- Working closely with Unix, Middleware, Database, Network and Security teams
- Supporting production and non-production environments and driving complex issues through to root-cause resolution
- Applying DevSecOps and security-by-design principles across the platform

Core Technical Skills
- 8+ years in DevOps, Platform, Systems or Infrastructure Engineering
- Expert-level RHEL / Linux administration
- Strong Python and Bash scripting
- Ansible and infrastructure automation
- GitLab, Jenkins and Git
- Enterprise CI/CD
- On-premises infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
- Experience delivering large-scale transformation or migration programmes
